Lumi is a glucose display app that reads data from your own CGM sensor. It is built so that your health data never leaves your hands: Lumi has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. We collect nothing.
Lumi receives glucose readings directly from your sensor over Bluetooth and stores them in a private database on your device. This database is excluded from iCloud device backups. Lumi never transmits your glucose values, or any other personal information, to us or to anyone else — the app makes no network connections at all.
With your permission, Lumi can read blood-glucose history from Apple Health and save your sensor's readings back to Apple Health so your other apps stay in sync. This access happens entirely on your device, is controlled by you in Health → Sharing, and can be revoked at any time. Health data is never used for marketing, advertising, or data mining, and is never shared with third parties.
Lumi can produce a CSV file of a day's readings, an AGP PDF report, and a diagnostic log. These files are created on your device and go only where you explicitly send them with the iOS share sheet. The diagnostic log contains technical events (Bluetooth connections, database operations) and no glucose values.
Glucose alerts are computed and delivered locally on your device. No notification content passes through our hands — we have no hands to pass it through.
Lumi collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of Lumi ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the App Store release notes.
