Lumi is a calm, glanceable companion display for the Dexcom G7 family of sensors (G7, G7 15 Day, ONE+, and Stelo). It listens alongside the official app and turns your readings into a soothing home screen, charts, trends, history, alerts, watch complications, and a Live Activity.
Lumi is not a medical device and does not replace your sensor manufacturer's app. Never make treatment decisions based on Lumi alone — confirm with a fingerstick and follow your care plan. Keep your official sensor app installed and its urgent alarms on.
Lumi says "looking for your sensor…" — Lumi listens passively while the official app owns the sensor session. Keep your iPhone within about 20 feet of the sensor; readings arrive every five minutes.
I replaced my sensor. — Use Settings → Forget sensor in Lumi, and it will find the new one after its warmup.
Can Lumi sound through the mute switch? — Not yet. Lumi's urgent-low alert uses iOS time-sensitive notifications, which pierce quiet hours and Focus but not the hardware mute switch. Keep the official app's urgent-low alarm on as your backstop.
Where does my data go? — Nowhere. See the privacy policy: no servers, no accounts, no analytics.
